Hana Seumanu Waihanga Ara Rau Pacific Transformation Lead Hana’s skills, expertise and passion spans Pacific career development, workforce progression, management and servant leadership spaces primarily in the Government and Public sector. Hana proudly hails from Samoa; Vaiusu (Faleata, Dad) and Fatausi (Safotulafai, late mum). With a Masters in Career Development from AUT, Hana’s personal drivers include developing People, and influencing systems to help shape, shift and transform conditions for Pacific workforces to progress and thrive for a better quality of life. Hana’s role at Waihanga Ara Rau is to amplify the leo (voice) of the Pacific in industry, training and business to improve investment, and engage VET system players to take ownership for Pacific success in the construction & infrastructure sector. She is responsible for operating at a strategic level to prioritise the success of Pacific workforces and learners on behalf of the Construction and Infrastructure sectors. Hana forms strategic relationships with industry, businesses and employers with a focus on partnering to ensure fit-for-purpose and equitable training solutions are developed based on current and future sector requirements.
