Hinurewa te Hau Whakatōhea, Ngāti Hine, Ngāti Kahungunu, Maniapoto, Tūwharetoa, Ngāti Raukawa, is the General Manager of Creative Northland, the regional arts development agency for Te Tai Tokerau. With a wealth of experience as a business leader, she is a strong advocate for effective Treaty partnerships and the integration of Tikanga Māori values in private sector boards, non-profit organizations, and government.

Hinurewa has been involved since 2020 as an interim establishment council member with the Reform of Vocational Education (RoVE) for the WDC for Creative, Culture, Recreation, and Technology (now Toi Mai). In 2022, she was appointed to the Ringa Hora (Services) WDC. Hinurewa has held various governance positions, including her most recent role as Director of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited.
